    Dr. Z is a lifelong learner and is updated on the newest research to make sure her clients receive the minimal amount of dosage for maximal effect.

  • Simply click on the “Book an Appointment” button to schedule your first session with Dr. Z. There is also an option to book a free 15-min phone consultation if you have questions or concerns beforehand.

  • Your first session will be an hour long and it includes a comprehensive evaluation and treatment(s) as indicated.

    From there, Dr. Z will discuss your treatment plan and establish a collaborative approach with other providers if necessary to make sure you move in the right direction on your healing journey.

  • Dr. Z strives to provide the highest quality of care to her clients and because of this, she has chosen not to contract her practice with insurance companies so that she can treat her clients on a one-on-one basis without any restrictions from insurance.

    That being said, you may be able to receive reimbursement from your insurance company based on your “out of network” benefits. Dr. Z will provide a super bill but it is the sole responsibility of the client to obtain coverage information and submit the claim.

  • Yes, Dr. Z holds advanced training and certification in dry needling.

    To comply with state regulation, you would need a PT referral marked with dry needling to recieve the treatment.

  • The state of Georgia allows for direct access for physical therapy, which means you do not need a referral to be seen initially. If your plan of care exceeds 8 visits or 21 days, Dr. Z does require you to obtain a referral from a MD/DO to ensure continuity of care and compliance of state regulations.

    For wellness visits, such as pre-natal massage, stretching and strength training sessions, you do not need a referral.
